Completion reports & attestations¶
Show who completed a reminder, across every message you send.
Completion report¶
Open Reports in the portal to see each message you’ve sent in the last 30 days, 90 days or 12 months, with:
- completion rate (acknowledged, agreed or Done, out of delivered)
- people still outstanding and overdue
- Need help responses
- whether an escalation was sent
Workspace administrators can switch to Everyone in the workspace to review every sender’s messages. Follow-ups are counted with their original message. Select Export CSV to download the report.
Completion reports are available on Team and Business.
Message exports¶
On any message report, select Export CSV to download one row per recipient with their Slack user ID, email, delivery status, response, delivery and response times (UTC), the due date, any attestation statement and the exact message text.
Attestations¶
An attestation asks people to confirm a statement, such as agreeing to a policy. Choose Attestation (I agree) under Action, then write the statement, for example I have read and agree to the Acceptable Use Policy (v3).
When someone selects the button, Slack shows the statement in a confirmation dialog. Their response is recorded only after they confirm. The DM then shows the statement they agreed to. Sent messages can’t be edited, so the statement and message text in your export are exactly what each person saw.
Attestations are available on Business and Enterprise.
Responses record what recipients select in Slack. Done and attestation responses are self-reported; they don’t verify that a task was completed.
