A message workspace that keeps your work

Use the portal’s New message page for rich editing, a live Slack preview, scheduling and sender options. You can also save a draft directly from Slack.

Compose and preview

Give the message an internal title, select an audience, and write a clear next step. The live preview updates while you type. Slack rendering can differ slightly; Send preview to me sends the actual message to your DM.

Add an action button to either Record acknowledgment or Open a link. Link destinations must use HTTP or HTTPS. Link clicks are not acknowledgment confirmations.

Save and recover

Save draft stores the message in your workspace. Unsaved portal edits are also recoverable in your current browser for seven days. Expired recovery entries are removed when you reopen the draft. When you reopen the same draft, select Restore changes to recover them, or Keep saved version to discard them.

Browser recovery is local to that browser and account. It is not a substitute for saving, does not transfer between devices, and may be unavailable if browser storage is disabled or cleared.

Review before sending

Review & send shows the audience and recipient count. Confirming queues the message for immediate delivery. Workspace sender permission and plan limits are checked again on the server.

Reuse and restore

Search your Drafts list to find a message. Duplicate a sent message to start a fresh draft, or use a template for a common workflow. Move unused drafts to Trash and restore them later.
